Coach Transfer to Start

**PLEASE PRE-BOOK YOUR COACH TRANSFER**

Coach transfers will be available on the morning of the race from the race finish. Parking is very limited at the start, however, ample free parking is available at the finish. The cost is £12 per person and you can reserve your place when registering through SI Entries. If you have already signed up but you’d like to reserve a place, you can add this to your race entry:

Whilst we are not aware of any risks to vehicle security at the pick up locations, please do not leave any valuables inside your vehicle.

 

 

COACH TRANSFER FROM WARDEN (70KM):

Coach departs 6.30am

Please avoid using the main car park of the Boatside Inn and follow the signs for the overflow car park across the road.

Drop Bags

Bag tags will be provided at Registration.

 

You can deposit a bag at race registration and this will be transported to the finish at Warden ready for your arrival.

Route Navigation

The course is waymarked and the routes are available to view in various formats from the Route Maps page. If you wish to upload a GPX file to your navigation device and are experiencing problems, then please get in touch and we’ll try to help, as we are aware that GPX files do not always import correctly across all devices.

20km – Alston

South Tynedale Railway Station, Station Rd, Alston CA9 3JB.

41km – Haltwhistle

Vehicle providing support at NE49 0HZ.

59km – Haydon Bridge

The Anchor Hotel, Haydon Bridge, NE47 6AB.

70km – Finish at Warden.

The Boatside Inn, Warden, NE46 5SQ.

Final Cut-Off Times

There is a cut-off time of 14 hours (11.00pm).

Please note that if you have not completed the race in this time, we will not abandon you! Someone will be waiting for you with your medal and t shirt. However, if your finish time is looking to be excessively long, we will give you the opportunity of a pick up, or if you wish to continue alone then this will be at your own risk and without event support.

GPS Live Athlete Tracking

Tyne Trail Ultra have signed up with Open Tracking to provide each participant with a small GPS tracker which transmits their location to the website. Their latest position is displayed on a map which updates automatically. This is a great additional feature for the participants of the event and also for supporters who wish to track their progress.

Mandatory Equipment

A list of the Mandatory and Recommended Kit can be viewed on the Kit List page. There will be random kit checks prior to the start of the races. Please remember “No kit, No go”.

All finishers will receive a Tyne Trail Ultra medal and t shirt.

Trophy plaques will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Male & Female

The Tyne Trail Ultra run route is never far from a road, so this is a great event for providing support at whichever point you wish.
